Sample River Mile Map

Maps, particularly ones useful for small watercraft are very difficult to find.  You have to kind of make your own.

This is an example of a map of the Susquehanna River made using Google Earth.   The river miles are measured from the mouth of the river at Havre De Grace MD.  On this map, you can see roughly miles 68 through 72.  Also indicated on the map are various features including grocery stores, motels, restaurants and the like that are within a reasonable walking distance of the river.   Hazards are noted as well.  On this map, there is a portage required at a dam at Mile Point 70.  There is also a USGS flow measuring station indicated on this map section.
